The leadership for the UTS Catholic society exists in two parts. There's the Society, which consists of ordinary students, and the Chaplaincy, who are specially trained for and employed full time by the Archdioscese of Sydney.
The Society focuses on the management of the student body such budgeting, planning events, advertising, etc. The Chaplaincy is tasked with evangelisation, funding for large projects, and of course offering the Sacraments.

Dear Students and Staff,
On behalf of the executive team, I'd like to welcome you to our website! We are humbled to be your servants in Christ this year, and we are excited to meet you. We can't imagine to what extent you've suffered over the last two years. Hopelessness and despair may be prevailent in the world today, but we have hope to offer and ears to listen. You are always welcome here, not just as friends but as true family.
We cannot overstate the significance of our work here. We are the vehicle by which God offers His most blessed sacraments to the university. It is through these priceless gifts that our brothers and sisters will be saved from the insanity of sin, and the eternal fires of Hell. We accept this responsibility with trepidation and hope. We affirm our commitment to love God above all things, and to worship Him well. We will defend the Faith with academic rigour, honesty, and commitment to the truth. We also affirm our commitment to love our neighbor always, even those who hate us or seek our destruction. We refuse to discriminate against students for any reason whatsoever. Please pray that we may increase in virtue, and be good leaders before our Lord.
Our world today is in mortal peril. Let anyone with eyes see it! It is a sickness that grips the heart, and is far deadlier than the coronavirus. It is modernism, which makes man the object of his own worship. “Do what thou wilt” is the only commandment of our age. Objective truth is crucified because cowards cannot bear to look at it. Subjective experience is now held in higher regard than beauty because beauty shames the wicked soul.
We have departed from God. Behold the consequences! We are afraid, confused, and miserable. How much longer shall we endure like this? Another two years? Perhaps five or ten? Do not forfeit a single minute of your life to the evil one! Cultivate the inner freedom he hates so much by trusting in the Lord. Our leaders may lock us down, and the world may scorn you for your faith, but even in this life you will find freedom and love you never thought were possible. Trust in God and if that’s too much to stomach, then commit yourself to learning apologetics. Reason and faith are the two wings of the Holy Spirit, and you cannot fly to Him without both.
Dark forces are at play, that much is plain to see. But now, something big is coming. Our enemy is stepping out from the shadows, laughing and proclaiming victory. Those of us who are unprepared in our spiritual lives are about to suffer very badly in this brave new world. Please pray very much! Make your preparations now before the cold winter comes. Train your body, train your mind, and above all deepen your love in the Lord Jesus Christ. God has not abandoned His flock and never will. Even today, he dwells among us, body blood soul and divinity.
I will pray for you all. Please for me too, a poor sinner.
Yours in Christ,
Hudson
